Part 4, includes aerial views of Tokyo. Shows the amphibious invasion of Iwo Jima. Adm. Nimitz confers with an officer. Planes take off from an aircraft carrier and attack Japanese ships. U.S. forces capture San Manuel, Philippine Islands and Gen. MacArthur arrives. Wounded are carried away on stretchers Adm. Halsey tells the press that the U.S. should not accept a compromise peace with Japan.
